NEW IRS RULES FOR TAX PREPARERS

In January 2010, the IRS announced a comprehensive set of new rules that will require tax prepares to be licensed.  The agency will phase in the changes, which are expected to improve tax compliance and reduce fraud, with the 2011 tax year.
