Which Tax Return Preparers are Subject to the New IRS Requirements

In accordance with Department of the Treasury Proposed Regulation 134235-08 issued on March 26, 2010, all tax return preparers must obtain a new Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) in order to prepare tax returns as of January 1, 2011.
